Our link bracelets have a folded clasp that you can open and close. The clasp is the link of the bracelet that has the MagnetRX® logo on it. To open the clasp, you must pull up on the edge nearest to the "M" of MagnetRX. The first time you open it, it may be tighter than usual, but it should be quite easy to open with one hand once it is on your wrist.

Please watch the video for detailed instructions

To open, press the button on each side of the clasp where the ends of the bracelet are joined together. This button releases the safety clasp mechanism that unlocks the clasp.

To close, fold over the clasp and press MagnetRX until snap to lock.

It would depend on the material your bracelet is made with. If it is a copper bracelet, you certainly shouldn't bathe with it on because it will patina. If it is titanium or stainless steel bracelet, they are both waterproof and will not tarnish. However, if you do bathe with them on, over time, the soaps and water can reduce the luster of the bracelet, as it would with any other jewelry.

To keep your MagnetRX® bracelet looking great for years, we recommend reading our:

The clasp opens by sliding one end up and the other downward. Please see the attached image that shows how to open the clasp.

If your link bracelet needs resizing, you can use the sizing tool that was included with the bracelet to remove links to fit your wrist perfectly. Please follow our instructional sizing video here!

If your 3x Strength Bracelet needs resizing, you can use the sizing tool that was included with the bracelet to remove links to fit your wrist perfectly. Please follow our instructional sizing video

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Determine your desired fit by wrapping the bracelet around your wrist. Decide how many links you need to remove.
  2. Locate the rounded end of the needle on the side of the bracelet, which will have a slight indentation. This is the side you need to strike with the tool push pin to remove the needle.
  3. Open the sizing tool and place your bracelet on it. Align the tool push pin with the bracelet needle you want to remove. It's easiest to remove links from the middle section of the bracelet.
  4. Hold the bracelet in place with one hand while gently twisting the knob of the sizing tool with your other hand. Keep twisting until the needle is pushed out from the other end.
  5. Twist the knob in the opposite direction to release the bracelet, then use your fingers to completely remove the needle.
  6. Repeat this process to remove the desired links. Note that you don't have to remove each link individually.
  7. To reconnect the links, align the two bracelet links together and insert the rounded end of the needle using your fingers. Make sure to insert the correct side of the needle, with the smaller rounded end going in first.
  8. Push against the base of the sizing tool or a hard surface to ensure the pin goes back in flush with the rest of the bracelet. If you encounter difficulty, pliers will be useful to fully press the pin.

Please refer to our instructional sizing video for visual guidance. If needed, there are two extra pin-heads included in the base of the tool.

You can wear the MagnetRX® bracelet on either wrist. It is really up to you and comfort is the key.

If you are using the magnetic therapy bracelet for wrist pains, you should wear the magnetic bracelet on the wrist with more pain to target the area directly.

MagnetRX® bracelets are best worn comfortably around the wrist. There is no need for our magnetic bracelet to fit tightly around the wrist or to be touching the skin for the wearer to benefit from magnetic technology. Comfort is the key!

Please make sure that you do not buy a bracelet that is too tight and restricts blood flow. Although the magnets appear to be small, they are powerful rare earth magnets designed to penetrate deeply. As long as they are face down against your skin they are working!

MagnetRX® magnets never lose their power! We use permanent rare earth neodymium magnets, which will not lose their strength over time. As long as you take care of your MagnetRX® item, you can enjoy it for a lifetime!

It is not recommended to use magnetic therapy if you have a pacemaker. The primary concern regarding the use of magnetic therapy in conjunction with a pacemaker or electro-medical device is due to the presence of batteries within these devices. Magnets have the potential to accelerate the depletion of the battery's lifespan. Consequently, if your pacemaker's battery typically requires replacement every 2 years, and a magnet is in close proximity to the pacemaker (and, by extension, the heart) for extended periods, it could potentially lead to a shorter battery life, perhaps requiring replacement after only 1.5 years. This is the reason for caution, and why we strongly advise customers against utilizing magnetic therapy with these electro-medical devices, as they contain batteries.

Our magnetic hematite bead bracelets on strings can be expanded by pulling in slack into the inner part of the bracelet. To do this, take both your hands and pull apart the last two beads of the inner part of the bracelet. It may require some force the first time to get a hang of it. You will be able to pull all the slack from the dangling sting to the inner circle of the bracelet. Then you can pull the small beads on the dangling string apart to tighten/close the bracelet.
